Barbara McCarthy
Barbara McCarthy was born in Detroit, Michigan and is currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband Mark and two daughters Brittany and Sydney.
Barbara attended Idaho State University and Meridith Manor International Equestrian Centre School of Horsemanship with the title of Riding Master III. Barbara is a Certified Dressage and Combined Training Instructor. She also studied Training, Breeding, Business Management and Equine Management
Barbara has over 20 yrs experience teaching Dressage and combined Training to students of all ages. She also has 15 yrs experience organizing and instructing horse camps she has trained people and all breeds of horses in dressage through Intermediare I Barbara is currently training her Hanoverian Mare Weaver Of Dreams to compete Prix St Georges.

Biography: I have been riding ever since I could walk! It has been my passion,
inherited from my mom, since I laid eyes on horses. I have owned three horses,
all of which hold a special place in my heart. The partnership I have with my
horse, Gabelle, is once in a life time. I have trained her from birth and know
she will try her heart out for me. This year, in conjunction to qualifying for
Young Riders on Cinbad, I will compete at fourth level with her. Though I love
my own horse, Cinbad has become a huge part of my life. With his serious but
pleasing attitude we have forged a partnership that I believe will carry us far
this year. He is an absolutly amazing animal, and partner, and I can't thank the
Paxton family enough for giving me this once in a life time opportunity.
